What happens when you close your Kismoe account

Your account is yours to close whenever you want. Here is exactly what happens, in order, so there are no surprises.

Step by step

  1. 1. You ask us to close it. You type the email address you sign in with, so we know it is really you.
  2. 2. We wait 7 days. Nothing is removed during this time. You can still sign in and use everything as normal.
  3. 3. We email you straight away. The email says the exact date and has a button to stop the closure.
  4. 4. You can change your mind any time. One button keeps your account open and cancels the closure.
  5. 5. On day 7 it is done. Your sign-in and everything in your account are removed for good.

What is removed

  • Your sign-in and account details
  • Documents you created, and their signing history
  • Client offers and anything you shared from them
  • Your Business Check-Up answers and progress
  • Conversations with the assistant, tasks, and notes
  • Your phone answering assistant setup
  • Any links you shared with outside reviewers stop working

What we keep, and why

We keep a small record of payments and invoices because the law requires it, and a note that the account was closed so it cannot be started again by mistake. These records do not include your documents, offers, or answers.

Take a copy first

Before the 7 days are up you can download everything: a readable report you can print or hand to an accountant, and a full file for moving into another tool. After the closure finishes we cannot get any of it back.

If you did not ask for this

If you get a closing email you were not expecting, stop the closure with the button in that email and change your password. Nothing is removed until day 7, so there is time.
